Monstera adansonii mint variegata (EU) #1
Total height: 24cm
Plant height: 12cm
Pot height: 12cm
Pot diameter: 11cm
The Monstera adansonii originates from the tropical forests and riverbanks of Central and South America and belongs to the Araceae family. The super rare adansonii mint variegata is an absolute jewel in our plant collection and therefore very special. This plant is often mistaken as the adansonii indonesian marble. But our european mint is another, much more rarer species.
It fills us with pride to be able to offer this absolute rarity here. It has a unique variegation in different shades of mint green and white, which extends over the entire leaf.
CareIf you are one of the lucky plant collectors who offer a home to this rarity, there are important things to consider here, just as with other exotics. This mainly concerns light and temperature.
Sunlight, for example, plays a paramount role in the variegation of this rare houseplant. The brighter it is, the more beautiful and wild your Monstera will grow. Bright, however, does not always mean sunlight at any price. According to its natural habitat, this exotic plant does not tolerate direct sunlight, but only indirect light. An east or west window is recommended.
Once the plant has grown, it should be offered a homemade or conventional climbing aid in the form of a climbing pole, as it would climb along a tree in nature.
It does not tolerate bale dryness or waterlogging. Therefore, it is recommended to let the first centimeters of the substrate dry out before you start watering again. This dream plant feels especially well with increased humidity and temperatures between 20° and 23° Celsius.
