Syngonium belong to the family of Araceae and are native to tropical rainforests in southern Mexico, the West Indies and Central and South America. What makes this plant species particularly exciting is the many different colors and variations. The rare Syngonium podophyllum confetti tricolor is a special eye-catcher in every plant collection. The arrow-shaped leaves captivate by the special coloring in different shades of green and pink. This particular houseplant stands out in any living room jungle because of the different leaf patterning with speckles and spots in the different colors. This unique patterning Syngonium podophyllum confetti tricolor also owes its name.

As soon as the Syngonium podophyllum confetti tricolor forms shoots, you should support it with a vine rod. For this purpose, commercial vine sticks for climbing plants or homemade from sphagnum moss are suitable. Because in the wild it would grow up to 20m in height on a huge jungle tree. The substrate of this rare dream plant should never dry out completely, optimal is a continuous uniform moisture in the pot ball. Before watering, the top layers of soil should dry slightly to avoid waterlogging. How often you actually need to water then depends greatly on the light, humidity, size of the plant and that of the pot. Syngonium is happy with increased humidity, bright indirect light and temperatures between 18° and 23°.
