Syngoniums belong to the Araceae family and are native to tropical rainforests of southern Mexico, western India and Central and South America. Especially exciting are the many different colors and variations of the Syngoniums. The rare Syngonium pink spot impresses with its pastel green to pastel pink leaves, on which the also pink variegation draws different patterns. The green back of the arrow-shaped leaves completes the play of colors on this rare Syngonium. It is a special, truly colorful bird.
Care
As soon as this rare Syngonium forms shoots, it should be supported with a climbing aid, as is usual with other Syngoniums. This not only promotes growth, but is reminiscent of their natural habitat. Commercially available climbing sticks or homemade climbing aids made of sphagnum moss are suitable for this purpose. In the wild, by the way, it would grow up to 20 meters in height on a huge jungle tree.
The substrate should never dry out completely. Optimal is consistent moisture throughout the pot ball. Before watering, the top layers of the soil must dry slightly to avoid waterlogging. Syngonium pink spot is happy with increased humidity, bright indirect light and temperatures between 19 ° and 23 ° Celsius.
