Zamioculcas zamiifolia is the only species of the monotypic plant genus Zamioculcas and belongs to the Aracaeae family. Originally, its range extends from Kenya to KwaZulu-Natal. The variegation of Zamioculcas zamiifolia variegata in different shades of cream to yellow is particularly well accentuated on the green leaflets. Underground the tuberous rhizome forms fresh shoots, which can surprise with ever new leaf patterns.

Zamioculcas zamiifolia variegata is a rather low-maintenance houseplant, it can cope with less light, but is also happy with bright indirect light. It is sensitive to too much moisture, as its thickened leaf axils can store it, a sip of water occasionally is enough. Temperatures between 20° and 25° and a normal humidity are optimal, but it does not mind if the air is dry.

We rely on beneficial insects instead of chemical pesticides for pest control. Each plant is checked by us before shipping and freed from them. Nevertheless, it is possible that one of our helpers gets into your package. They are harmless and will not harm you or your plants at home.
The appearance of the offered product may change until shipment, because it is a living and growing plant. A new leaf may be added as well as an existing leaf may discolor or even die. Since plants are delicate creatures, leaves may be damaged or weakened by shipping. This must be accepted at the time of purchase.
